As Sarah was getting her hair and makeup the Dave Spink Photography team went to the bridal suite to take photos of her stunning dress. Luckily the team had a separate room to do all the preparation shots, meaning they weren’t getting in anyones way. However once Sarah had finished, she came into the room for a few quick photos.
Sarahs dress was very un usual, at the back it buttoned up leaving some beautiful openings on her back.

Rebecca and James – August 25th 2013

On Sunday the 25th of August, the Dave Spink Photography team had the pleasure of joining Rebecca and James for their special day. The wedding began at Thornhill Parish Church in Dewsbury. The church was dressed beautifully for the occasion, with doves at either side of the entranceway.

The guests took advantage of the warm summer sun and spent their time before the ceremony at the church gates. After guests had headed inside the church, Rebecca arrived in a Pink Cadillac from Cartwright’s Cars, greeted by her bridesmaids, her flower girls and her ring-bearer.

Rebecca made her entrance by ascending the stairs at the back of the church, cloaked with sunlight. Rings were exchanged and the couple soon exited the church as Mr and Mrs, husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, the doves at the church door were released by Rebecca and James from the Church grounds. After the confetti was thrown in the archway of the church gates, the couple made their way back into their pink Cadillac and drove to the reception venue: 315 Bar and Restaurant near Huddersfield.

The Dave Spink Photography wedding videographers rejoined the couple, taking the opportunity to explore the Wedding Breakfast room before guests entered, documenting the little details such as the tables named after famous couples like Mickey & Minnie and William & Kate, as well as scratch cards as wedding favours.

Rebecca and James had tailored their special day with their guests in mind, and with a number of children at the wedding, they hired a bouncy castle and an ice cream van to ensure that a good time was had by everyone there.

Thanks to the weather, the couple were able have their photographs taken outside. With a list of fun shots prepared, the bridal party weren’t short of a few laughs as the groomsmen threw themselves on the ground and the bridesmaids took up their poses as secret agents.

Steadily, the evening drew in, and the guests joined the couple by the dance floor to watch their first dance. The wedding was a lovely day for both the team and the guests there. Watch above to see just a few of the highlights of the day.

Coral and Ian had their special day on the 24th of August at the Old Lodge Malton.
The Dave Spink photography team had not come to this venue before, however they were here today with both the photography team and a Photo Booth.
Seen as the team hadn’t been to this venue before, they thought before the wedding ceremony was to take place that they should take a look around the grounds
inside and out to get an idea before hand as to where they were going to take photos and what locations they could use inside if it started to rain.
Although  The Woodlands Hotel, Bagden hall, Oulton Hall and many others are all venues  that the Award winning photographers go to on a regular basis and love visiting, they always look forward to going to new and exciting places to expand their impressive venue portfolio even more. Coral and Ian had their ceremony in quite a small room but with unique use of the balcony Leeds based photographers were able to get some different angles for them.
With the weather holding out nicely for the happy couple, the team thought they would take advantage of this rare but nice English weather and got the photography our of the way first thing after the ceremony. everyone was cooperative, smiling and having a great time, resulting in some fantastic photos for the bride and groom to look back at in years to come. With plenty of time before the Wedding Breakfast was to take place, Coral and Ian had chance to catch up with their friends, and be congratulated by everyone, so that was the Dave Spink Photography’s chance to get their much-loved casual shots. These are the photos that show really what goes on your wedding day, and the team prefer this time of the day where people are little bit more relaxed and not focusing on the camera. While they all sat down for the wedding breakfast, Dave and Megan got on with putting together our very popular Photo Booth. Dave Spink photography are now one of the biggest and best Photo Booth company in the area offering un beaten prices all year round.
A Photo Booth can bring a lot to your evening celebrations. Our photo booths print out two copies of the photo, meaning your guests all so get a little something to take home with them on the night.

Ruth and Billy 14th of August 2013 at Woodhalls Hotel and Spa

Woodhalls Wedding Photographers leeds.
On the 14th of August 2013 award winning photographers attended Ruth and Billy’s wedding day.
The day started out bright and warm perfect summer weather for the newly weds.
Not long before ruth and billy’s wedding day, the Dave Spink photography team had purchased some portable studio lights, so this was a perfect time to test how good they were. One photo in particular being the one just above of Ruth’s dress.
The colour theme that they went with was a very bright blue, meaning the perfect opportunity to colour pop some one the photos back in the studio as shown on the photo below.
This wedding in particular shows what the team can do with prep, broadcasting Woodhalls wedding photographer’s unique talents down to a T, enabling the Leeds based photographers to capture all the special moments that happen before the day has even started and making your memories stretch that extra mile.
It was now time to meet Billy and his guys at the stunning Woodhalls Hotel. You might have noticed that when taking photos of the Guys, that there wasn’t just guys in the photos, in fact Billy had picked un traditionally a lady best man, or as billy had said ” A best women”

This was a lovely personal touch to the day as they had bought her a matching grey dress to go with the rest of the grooms men’s suits.
Woodhalls have a massive ceremony room, giving us the freedom to get what ever we need without causing any distractions and helping the Dave Spink Photography team to get lots of wide shots of the brides entrance.
With it being the middle of August the team had a good idea as to how the weather would pan out, however this is England, very un predictable. So after a few minutes of mingling and getting natural photography, they went straight to the group shots.
Woodhall’s provided amazing views so the photos came out stunning!
When visiting such a magnificent venue, the team like to make the most of it and get as many backdrops as they can think of, and here at Woodhall’s they certainly weren’t stuck for choice.
As ruth and billy relaxed with their guests Dave and Megan went to have a look around the room and the attention to detail had certainly stayed consistent throughout the whole day, which defiantly didn’t go un noticed with the rest of the guests, as they all filtered into the room ready for their wedding breakfast and more importantly, speeches.

As part of Ruth and Billy’s wedding package they were able to have a slide show for their night do of all the best photos for just £50 extra! This is a really good way to start your night do, as everyone soon filters in eager to see all the photographs from the day. It also gives you an idea as so what sort of photos you will be receiving once edited and done.

Philippa and Adrian – August 11th 2013

One of our first wedding videos in August was in the picturesque North Yorkshire town of Ripley. Philippa and Adrian chose to use the Ripley All Saints Parish Church for their Ceremony, which allowed for the members of the Dave Spink Photography team to spread out across the church to capture every moment.

After the ceremony was complete and the couple were married, the wedding guests headed back outside into the beautiful sunshine to shower the newlyweds with handfuls of confetti. From there, it was a quick walk to the reception venue of Ripley Castle.

The couple and their bridal party posed for photos in the arches of the entranceway to the castle, before Philippa and Adrian ventured further into the heart of the building to have more photographs taken together. Meanwhile, their guests took advantage of the space provided within the historical walls and spread out to mingle.

A little later, Philippa and Adrian were taken by their photographer Pete Bristo out to the spectacular grounds by Ripley Lake, joined by one of the members of the Dave Spink Photography team. The pleasant weather of the day allowed the team to capture the couple as they strolled along the side of the lake.

The couple soon returned to their guests and joined them in the Morning Room for the wedding breakfast. The Dave Spink Photography wedding videographers rejoined the wedding before the speeches began. There was laughter, tears, and the occasional heckle from the crowd as the speakers on the top table expressed love and adoration for the newlyweds.

As the evening drew closer more guests arrived, and the day was almost over for the Dave Spink Photography team. The guests joined Philippa and Adrian in the library for the couple’s first dance. The couple swayed, twirled and spun around the room, before inviting the guests to join them for the remainder of the evening’s festivities.

Richard and Xiao Die 10th August 2013

Allerton Hall wedding photographers.
On the 10th of August 2013 the Dave Spink Photography team photographed Richard and Xiao Die’s Wedding at Allerton Hall. Originally the couple got married in China and decided to have their wedding breakfast and reception back here in England.
The happy couple untraditional arrived together in their classic wedding car and as you can see from the photos were very happy to do so. With the day being a little different to usual, Richard and Xiao were had a few quick photos before hand while the hotel were getting ready for the wedding breakfast so Emily and Dave spent a bit of time with both the guests and just the two of them.
This came to no surprise to them as at Dave Spink photography we always have meetings just before the wedding to ensure everything is still running the same, so you guys don’t miss out just because of miss communications.
The Dave Spink Photography team have all been to Allerton hall a few times and is deemed one of our favourite places to go, so they certainly weren’t stuck for photos.
In China, the translation of Xiao Die is actually Butterfly, so the room was filled with also sort of butterfly accessories which all fitted together beautifully.

Helen and Elliot 4th August

044_BW

Huddersfield golf club photographers, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
On the 4th of August, the Huddersfield Golf Club weddingg photographers had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Elliot’s wedding! At Huddersfield Golf Club in West Yorkshire.
The happy couple exchanged their vows at the quirky church just an arms length away from where they live meaning its a church their both very familiar with.
Unlike most, this church allowed one of the team members to venture onto the balcony ready for the stunning entrance Helen made which left every eye on her.
After a few quick shots outside the church the team then headed down to Huddersfield Golf club for their wedding breakfast and reception. Prior to the wedding, the Dave Spink photography team had actually met Helen and Elliot at the venue to have a walk around and talk about some photo ideas they and of their own. This is one of the many ways the Award winning wedding photographers from Leeds try to accommodate you on your day and during the planning process of your wedding photography.
The venue itsself has acres and acres of stunning grounds and its almost impossible to believe that its just 2 miles away from the hustle and bustle of Huddersfield City Centre.
For the day, Helen and Elliot and hired some golf buggies so the team could get some photos elsewhere on the grounds! It was defiantly a fun and convenient way of doing the photos and made some perfect pictures for the happy couple’s complimentary wedding album, that is available on every wedding package Dave Spink Photography provides now.
One thing Helen and Elliot specifically asked for the team to do some ‘funny’ ‘quirky’ photos with the groomsmen and bridesmaids, an example being with all the girls lines behind Helen with their sun glasses on.

Once we were finished with the bride and groom, the team left them to relax and mile with their guests while they had a quick run around the wedding breakfast room. Not only did the bride and groom have a cake, but they actually had a big tower of pork pies in the shape of a wedding cake and all the guests could dig into to once the reception was to begin.
Overall everyone was having a fantastic time on Helen and Elliot’s unique take on their wedding day and it certainly shows on the photos.
